Dr. Mitch R. Fearing was born and raised in Valley City, North Dakota. He attended college at Valley City State before being accepted into Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon where he graduated in 1985.
He has been in practice at our current location since that time.
Dr. Fearing is married to Sandra and they have five children: Rachel, Mollie, Marcus and the twins, Katherine and Lauren. He is an avid golfer and racquetballer and is a member of the Moose Club and Rotary Club where he is a past president and a Paul Harris-fellow.
Dr. Danielle Brenno-Watterud was raised in Columbus, ND. She attended Minot State University, graduating with a B.A. in Biology before being accepted into Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR where she graduated in 2000. Following graduation, she began practicing in Williston, ND. Her special interests include: primary care optometry, contact lenses, pediatric vision, and ocular disease.
She is a member of the North Dakota Optometric Association & the American Optometric Association. Dr. Brenno-Watterud and her husband Todd have four children: Savannah, Sierra, Ty, & Sofia. They enjoy family time together in addition to traveling, camping, boating, & sports.
Dr. Laurali Sime, a native of Bottineau ND, graduated with a B.A. in Biology and was awarded a College Fellow in Biology from Jamestown College; Jamestown, ND in 1994. She graduated with academic honors and received a Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry, Forest Grove, OR in 1998.
After graduation she immediately began her optometry career in Williston, ND. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has a special interest in contact lenses, children's vision and refractive surgery co-management. She is a member of the North Dakota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, Dr. Sime and her husband, Leon, have three daughters.
When not busy with their children's activities they enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and traveling.
Dr. Allison Anderson is a native of Williston, North Dakota. She graduated from Williston State College with an Associate's degree in Arts and an Associate's degree in Science. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of North Dakota, before obtaining her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 2009. Following graduation, she began practicing in Williston, ND. Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Dakota Optometric Association.
Her special interests include primary care optometry, contact lenses, pediatrics, ocular disease, and refractive surgery co-management. Dr. Anderson enjoys time with her family, spending time at the lake, and traveling.
Dr. Michael Tofte is a Williston native. He graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences with a minor in Psychology.
He graduated with Distinction as Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry, received the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award, and was elected member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. He is also a member
of the North Dakota Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.
He is currently practicing primary care optometry including red eye and disease treatment, surgical co-management, and comprehensive eye examinations for glasses, contact lenses, recreational, and safety needs. He currently sits on the North Dakota Department of Transportation Medical Advisory Board.
Dr. Tofte enjoys time with his wife Edie and their children, Myah and Evan. They enjoy the camping, fishing, and hunting lifestyle.
Dr. JulieAnn Wick was born and raised in Williston, ND. She attended Pacific University College of Liberal Arts in Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. She then attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon and graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2003.
Following graduation, Dr. Wick provided eye care at both Minnesota Eye Consultants and Northwest Eye, two large ophthalmology practices located in the Twin Cities. After 11 years in Minnesota, she decided to return to her hometown. She then practiced with Trinity Regional Eyecare for 7 years before beginning her time with Williston Basin Eyecare Associates in 2021. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Dakota Optometric Association.
Dr. Wick enjoys spending time with family and attending her son Rowan's activities. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and photography.
Rebecca Rasmussen, OD was raised on a farm outside of Wheaton, MN. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead where she graduated with a B.A. in Biology. She is a
2011 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry and completed a residency specializing in primary care and ocular disease at White River Junction VA. Prior to moving to her husband's hometown in northeastern Montana, she practiced for almost 9 years at an ophthalmology clinic in the Twin Cities.
Dr. Rasmussen enjoys practicing the full scope of optometry including comprehensive eye exams, ocular disease management, and contact lenses.
In her spare time, she loves baking, gardening, and traveling with her husband and 3 small children.
